Location - How To Find Fern Acres

From Hilo take Hwy 11 towards Volcano. You will pass by Kea'au and through Kurtistown. It's about 12 to 14 miles depending on where you start from in Hilo. About a mile past the 13 mile marker, just before entering Mountain View, turn left onto South Kulani Rd. Take S. Kulani 1 mile to the stop sign at Puhala St. Turn right onto Puhala and go about 300 yards to Plumaria St on the left. This is the first street in Fern Acres. If you are coming from the Kona side, you will pass through the small town of Mountain View (of which Fern Acres is a part) and turn right onto South Kulani Road just a few hundred feet past the Mountain View Elementary School & Library.
